The second edition of the International Conference on Endourology, ICE26 is all set to take place in Valencia on 8-10 October. Delegates can look forward to a scientific programme that combines pre-recorded surgical cases, extended abstract sessions and several novel and inspirational talks that get to the heart of innovation in endourology. Some highlights from the scientific programme:
– Daily semi-live surgery session
Professionally pre-recorded cases, presented in unedited, as-live format and presented and discussed by the operating surgeon, in the auditorium. Cases include RIRS, flexible URS with flexible and navigable suction (FANS), bipolar and en-bloc enucleation of the prostate, and demonstrations of the latest endourological instruments and technologies.

– Lifetime Achievement Award
This year’s winner of the newly-instituted Endourology Section Lifetime Achievement Award is Prof. José Gabriel Valdivia Uría, the surgeon who developed a technique of percutaneous renal access with the patient in supine position in 1988. The Valdivia technique, in various forms is still used to this day. Join us in honouring this pioneer, as well as other luminaries from the field at the ICE26 Award Session on Saturday, 10 October.
– Inspirational ‘Giant of the day’ lecture
Every day of ICE26 will begin with an inspirational lecture, based on personal insights, from a high-profile endourologist with an exceptional career in the field.

- “My experience with RIRS and laser” by Prof. Michael Grasso (New York, US)
- “My experience with HoLEP” by Prof. Peter Gilling (Tauranga, NZ)
– Best Endourologist 2026: Clash of the Titans
Throughout the Conference we will be hearing from teams competing in the 2026 “Best Endourologist” competition. This year’s challengers have been announced! Find who is representing their parts of the globe here.
– Extended abstract sessions
Underpinning the International Conference on Endourology is the unique research submitted and presented by urologists and researchers from around the world. Uniquely among scientific meetings of its kind, ICE26 will featured longer-form presentations, moderated and with plenty of opportunity for discussion. A total of 255 abstracts were accepted, half of which will be presented in no fewer than 18 abstract, video and highlight sessions.
