ICE26 will take place at Valencia Conference Centre in Valencia, Spain. The building is a landmark architectural work by the celebrated architect Norman Foster. It was awarded Best European Building by the Royal Institute of British Architects a year after its opening in 1999. This venue has also earned the World’s Best Convention Centre twice, in 2018 and 2010.

Travel information

Travelling to Valencia by train

Valencia is easily accessible by high-speed rail. Direct services connect the city with Madrid (approx. 1 hour 40 minutes) and Barcelona (approx. 3 hours). Most services arrive at València Joaquín Sorolla Station, located close to the city centre and well connected by taxi, metro and local transport. Delegates are advised to book tickets in advance, particularly for travel on 7-8 October and 10-11 October.

How to reach the venue from Valencia Airport (VLC)

The Valencia Conference Centre (Palacio de Congresos) is conveniently located approximately 8 km from Valencia Airport, offering several easy transport options for delegates.

By metro
Valencia Airport is directly connected to the city via Metrovalencia lines 3 and 5, which run frequently throughout the day.
Route to the venue:

1. Take Line 3 or 5 from Aeroport station to Àngel Guimerà.
2. Change to Line 1 or 2 towards Beniferri or Empalme.
3. The venue is a short walk from either station.

By airport bus (bus line 150)
Bus line 150 connects the airport with the city. Buses run frequently Monday–Saturday (no service Sundays).

The Aerobus offers a direct connection from Valencia Airport to central Valencia.
Journey time: approx. 25–30 minutes

From the city centre, you can reach the Valencia Conference Centre by:

• Metro (Lines 1 or 2): approx. 20 minutes to Beniferri or Empalme stations, both a short walk from the venue.
• Taxi: approx. 10–15 minutes.
• Bus: several lines connect the city centre with the venue area in approx. 20–30 minutes.
